The ECB have today confirmed the Test Match Schedule in the UK between 2012 and 2016. The Ashes Venues for the 2013 Ashes test series have been confirmed with Old Trafford gaining a Ashes Test after missing out last time. The £32m that Lancashire County Cricket Club have spent upgrading the facilities at Old Trafford have been rewarded. Other Grounds to Get Ashes Test Matches in 2013 are Lords, Trent Bridge, Kia Oval and Durham.
The 2015 Ashes Venues have also been confirmed with Lords, Trent Bridge, Swalec Stadium , Edgbaston amd the Kia Oval. The Rose Bowl in Southampton has missed out on both Ashes Series as has Bristol.
2013 Ashes venues: Lord’s, Trent Bridge, Old Trafford, Durham, The Oval.
2015 Ashes venues: Lord’s, Trent Bridge, Cardiff, Edgbaston, The Oval.
